Even though schools have sent out home learning packs to try and keep some consistency in your kids daily routine, flexibility has been encouraged as every parent is beginning to feel that the teacher may not have been the problem!

David Walliams comical twist on elevenses will see an audiobook from his best selling World’s Worst Children’s short story collection released for free every day. Whether you and the kids have read his iconic Gangsta Granny book, the mischievous nature of the characters are relatable for children of all ages.
The free audio stories can be downloaded on his World of David Walliams website until the 23rd April 2020. Plus if there is a wacky character or wonderful tale that they take a shining to, the site also has a whole host of free fun activities from quizzes, colouring and puzzles to keep the imagination flowing.
The acts of literary kindness don’t end there! Audible has announced that they will be releasing free audiobooks on their story site until the schools reopen. With over 300 audiobooks in 6 languages accessible to the public, the books will really help isolated parents who are struggling for educational material to read to their kids. Categories including littlest listeners, elementary and tween with famous titles such as the likes of Winnie-The-Pooh, Beatrix Potter and Alice in Wonderland are all available to download now.
