Location
Sadler’s Wells has four theatres, Sadler’s Wells Theatre, Lilian Baylis Studio, Sadler’s Wells East and Peacock Theatre. This production is at Peacock Theatre - Portugal St, London WC2A 2HT.
Cloakroom and lost property
Sadler's Wells have a cloakroom for small items and coats. Just so you know, they can’t store large bags, suitcases or backpacks.
For lost property, please call 0207 863 8198.
Arrive early
They recommend arriving 30 minutes before the performance starts, so you can soak up the pre-show atmosphere and find your seat in time. The Peacock is open in person one hour before performances.
Food and drink
Pre-order your drinks and take in the buzz of the theatre at one of their bars. Find more information on eating and drinking below.
Eating and drinking during the performance
We serve a selection of drinks and snacks before the performance and during the interval from our bars on each level. The average price for snacks, including ice cream, is £4.
They understand that people want to bring their own snacks. As a courtesy to other audience members, please don’t eat hot food or packed lunches.
You can take drinks into the auditorium if they’re in plastic bottles or cups, but no glass please.
Children
Sadler's Wells put on some family-friendly performances, but generally speaking, they don’t allow children under the age of five in the audience. If the show allows children under five, under twos go free. If you’re a parent or carer, please book aisle seats to make getting in and out easier. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Filming and photography
The theatre doesn't allow recording on any cameras, mobile phones or other recording equipment in the auditorium.
