Did you know? Shakespeare’s Globe had to have special permission to have a thatched roof – there has been a law against thatched buildings in London since the Great Fire in 1666.

• 13th April - 18th April : 10.00am to 4.00pm
• 24th April to 23rd May: Weekends only 10.00am to 4.00pm
• 25th May to 30th September: Tuesday to Saturday 10.00am to 12.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 11.00am
• 1st October to 31st October: Thursday to Saturday 10am to 11am and Sunday 10am to 11am
• 15th November to 30th November: Thursday to Saturday 10.00am to 4.00pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm
• 1st December to 22nd December: Friday to Saturday 10.00am to 4.00pm and Sunday 10am to 3pm
• Tours typically depart every hour.
• Tours duration: 50 minutes
• As the Globe is a working theatre, tour times may vary due to performance schedules - after all, the show must go on!

Note:

The Globe will be closed 1st - 14th November  with no tours available 

Guided Tours will be closed 23rd - 26th December, open on 27th to 30th December 10am to 2pm
