Suitable for 0-100 years
Step inside Kensington Palace, one of London’s most iconic royal residences and the current home of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their family. While you’re unlikely to meet them during your visit, you can explore the rich history of palace life and discover the stories of royals past and present.
A royal home for more than 300 years, Kensington Palace was opened to the public by Queen Victoria in 1899 and today remains both a working royal residence and a fascinating museum.
Your visit includes access to the elegant State Apartments, the grand staircase, the King’s Gallery, and beautifully decorated rooms such as the Cupola Room and Drawing Room, each filled with regal history and stunning design.
Be sure to leave time for the palace gardens too, where you can stroll through the peaceful Cradle Walk and admire the colourful Sunken Garden. A wonderful day out for families, history lovers, and anyone curious about royal life.
