Discover Hidden London

Various locations on the Tube network

Explore secret parts of the Underground

2nd July to 31st August

Suitable for 10-100 years

Best Bits

Step behind the closed doors of the Tube and discover secret underground locations on London Transport Museum’s exclusive Hidden London tours - now open to children aged 10 and over!

This summer, families can:
· Venture into the fully disused Aldwych Tube station
· Walk alongside abandoned railway tracks in the “Catacombs” of Moorgate
· Relive the early days of the Tube in secret areas of Baker Street
· Discover the hidden Jubilee line platforms at Charing Cross – which closed in 1999 but have been since used in blockbuster films like Paddington and Skyfall

Further afield, you can also follow a 1940s warden on an immersive tour into a secret deep level shelter that was built under the streets of Clapham South during the Second World War. Discover reconstructed areas, handle authentic wartime artefacts, and sit on the original bunk beds turned benches that Londoners would have spent their evenings on during air raids.

Perfect for curious kids and history-loving grown-ups, Hidden London tours are the perfect way to experience the city like never before!

Hidden London tours run Wednesday to Sunday, all summer. Visit London Transport Museum’s website to find the latest availability and book your ticket.
