Flip Out Brent Cross – Jump for Joy with This Fantastic Day Out

LittleBird Mum Naomi took her son and a couple of his friends to the awesome trampoline park, Flip Out Brent Cross. Hear how they got on…

According to their website, The Flip Out aim is simple. ‘To deliver massive amounts of healthy, awesome fun’. And they definitely deliver. Officially the fastest-growing trampoline park operator in the UK they have over 78 outlets in 7 countries! Whilst I would have loved to have been going to one of their Australian branches where it all first started, I took my youngest son, who is 10 and a couple of his friends to the Brent Cross location, North West London.

With the amount of time these boys could happily spend on screens – it was great to give them the chance to get active and jumping. Providing them with some all-important cardiovascular fitness, whilst at the same time apparently helping their balance, coordination and motor skills!

Fun and fitness..the perfect combination!

They did a one hour Free Jumping session (available from Mon-Thurs 10am – 9pm, Fri-Sat 9am – 10pm & Sun 9am – 8pm), which gave them access to wall-to-wall trampolines, foam pits, a ninja obstacle course, the trick park where they could try out new stunts and test their skills in the laser maze!

The trampolines are really close together so they could chat away whilst jumping and set challenges for each other. They loved the battle beam – where they had way too much fun battling each other with giant foam batons!

You could either ‘flip’ into the enormous foam pit, or simply jump (which looked just as fun)! With trampolines on the walls at an angle –  the kids were literally able to ‘bounce off the walls’ and there were also super bouncy trampolines that sprung them superiorly high into the air  – which they loved!

There is a large area which is designated for little children only, which has a mini foam pit and 2 different areas for trick jumping depending on your height, so there was plenty to keep all ages entertained.

In fact, after the hour they actually wanted more so I took advantage of the 2nd hour for half price. Then they happily scoffed the pizza that was available for lunch. Whilst they jumped around to their hearts’ content I was able to sit, take photos and sneak in a bit of work (with access to the free WIFI) whilst drinking a much-needed cup of tea!

The only drawback is they’ll be hassling you to go again and again!

Tips:

  • There’s free to use easy access parking for approx. 100 cars.
  • You can bring other branded Free jumping socks to be exchanged for Flip Out grip socks for free
  • There is also a seated café upstairs if there’s no room downstairs!
