Imagine Festival is back at the Southbank Centre from Tue 18 – Sun 23 Feb 2025!
Let your imagination run wild with world-class performances and activities for every family.
- Ross Collins’s beloved story There’s a Bear on My Chair comes to the stage for the first time, with loveable puppets from Toby Olié (Spirited Away, War Horse).
- See lots of CBeebies friends and animals as they celebrate the natural world in music and song at the spectacular Wildlife Jamboree with the BBC Concert Orchestra.
- In The Colour of Dinosaurs, five musicians and palaeontologist Dr Jakob Vinther take us on a rip-roaring, prehistoric science pop gig.
- Strap in for pop-punk juggling as juggler Wes Peden shares his cutting-edge tricks in Rollercoaster.
- Settle in amongst hundreds of real plants in Great Big Tiny World and watch, hear and feel the environment come to life all around you, as we set out to grow a new world.
- Sharpen your pencils and prepare to laugh your head off as author and illustrator Nadia Shireen tells us all about the world of her Grimwood series.
- Join award-winning author and illustrator and festival favourite Rob Biddulph for an afternoon fizzing with laughs, creativity and drawing.
- Learning practical skills and useful facts from Dr Ronx, with their latest book for the Little Experts series.
- Comedian and writer Athena Kugblenu will help us debunk fact from fiction from throughout history.
- Immerse yourself in a street art masterclass with WOM Collective in our first ever Imagine Artist Studio space for older kids.
- Throughout Imagine Festival there's plenty of free things to do for a full family day out, including singing, dancing, art and storytelling events and activities.
- Imagine Festival is a Relaxed festival, meaning that all performances have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space.
