The Princess and The Pea at the Unicorn Theatre

We had the pleasure of popping along to the Unicorn Theatre to see The Princess and The Pea production running this May until the 16th of June and we LOVED it!

Perfectly pitched at ages 2+, the production portrays a pampered princess and her patient personal assistants, who are partial to a pea or two and who panda to her every possible predilection. But when she promenades in a perilous storm, will they permit her presence to the palace again, or will pandemonium prevail?

Ok, enough p’s (peas?)!

Based on the classic fairy-tale by Hans Christian Andersson with a twist, The Princess and the Pea is an exciting retelling of the classic fairy-tale with breath-taking acrobatics, gymnastics, clowning and pure fun!

The audience will be on the edges of their seats as they laugh, smile and gasp their way through this awesome show led by four wonderfully talented, comical and energetic actors. In a theatre full of young children, you could just hear giggles and excitement throughout the performance and to see the pure enjoyment on their faces throughout the show, was just joyful. They were rapt.
