Festive Family Fun at the BFI, Southbank

The Southbank is a great place to take the kids, especially in the run up to the Christmas and during the Christmas holidays. There is always so much going on for families of all ages and our partners and friends at the BFI have lots going on for the kids to enjoy, be inspired by and create.

There’s lots of classic and festive films this December including Santa Claus: the Movie, Disney ‘s Lady and the Tramp and the new movie Snoopy and Charlie Brown: The Peanuts Movie in 3D. Click here to see what’s on this December or download the leaflet here.

And did you know the BFI Southbank has free films ready and waiting for you and the kids – head to the amazing Mediatheque, sit down in front of a viewing screen and call up weird and wonderful titles, anything from full length feature films to old cinema adverts, TV children’s programmes and documentaries, all of which have been digitised from the BFI archives. It’s a perfect place to enjoy some great family time and with a cafe and bar, changing facilities as well as being is fully accessible for buggies and pushchairs – it’s a great place to meet for a coffee too.
