A Message from ZSL: Regretfully we have taken the decision to close ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos to visitors with immediate effect, and until further notice, following the latest update from the UK Government. This is the right and responsible decision to protect our people and our community. Rest assured that our animals will remain well fed and cared for, and the top priority for our dedicated zookeepers and other essential zoo staff, and we are making sure these front line workers are able to get to and from work safely.

Opening Friday 26 July ZSL Whipsnade Zoo is opening the UK’s first Aquarium dedicated to conserving the world’s most astonishing and endangered freshwater fish! Taking visitors on a round-the-world journey through ten of the planet’s most extreme and fascinating aquatic habitats, from a vibrant flooded forest in Brazil, to an African puddle, the Aquarium will bring families face-to-face with some of the rarest and most unique fish species in existence. All included in the Zoo entry price.
