Univers | Engruna Teatre | The Barbican
Barbican Centre
Live music, movement and poetic storytelling for 0-2 year olds
Running 3-13 December 2025!
Suitable for 0-2 years
Live music, movement and poetic storytelling combine in this fun, sensory show that gives 0–2-year-olds the space to explore in magical and unexpected ways.
People, performers and beautiful objects move, scatter and rearrange themselves in this endearing, immersive production that invites little ones to reflect, touch and interact.
Inspired by the fragile balance of the universe where even the smallest thing can create unexpected change. Univers encourages vulnerability, adaptability and exploration.
Engruna Teatre is a women-led company based in Catalonia that aims to charm and thrill both grown-ups and children, using art to create new forms of expression beyond words.
Review:
‘The production by Mireia Fernàndez takes quiet delight in the joy of sensory discovery. It is subtle and precise.‘
