Kew Gardens is the perfect family day out, explore gorgeous landscapes and gardens, stroll along a soaring treetop walkway, wander through tropical glasshouses and discover shady woodlands. It's an amazing way to get the kids playing outdoors and learning about the importance of plants at the same time.
Plus with the exciting new Children's Garden the size of 40 tennis courts, there's hidden treasures and adventures around every corner - from a high canopy walk to sunken trampolines! This fun, interactive space to climb, run, jump and explore everything that a plant needs to grow will have kids having fun and learning all about science. - Explore the Temperate House, the greatest glasshouse in the world, and learn about some of our planets rarest and most threatened plants
- Take a ride on the land train and enjoy a guided tour – additional fee applies

- Warm up in a tropical rainforest in the Palm House and explore a variety of climates in the Princess of Wales Conservatory

- See the amazing works of Dale Chihuly - Check out the amazing Chihuly Family Trail and discover all the luminous glass artworks located across the grounds (closes Sunday 27 October)
- Log Trail - Balance, hop and skip along the Log Trail. It's the perfect place to play and let off steam.
- Woodland Walk - Follow the raised trail through some of Britain's best-loved native trees and plants. Spot ladybirds, centipedes, beetles and spiders living in the bug hotels.
- Giant Badger Sett - Explore the secret underground world of badgers in the life-sized sett.

The Orchids Festival is Back! Saturday 8 February – Sunday 8 March 2020
Immerse yourself in the tropics this winter by exploring the wonders of Indonesia in the 25th annual orchid festival. Included with entry to the Gardens but timeslots can be booked in advance.
Gruffalo Adventures - 4-19 April 2020
Join the woodland trail at Kew Gardens to find the Gruffalo this Easter. Who is hiding in Kew's deep dark wood? Unleash your inner detective to find out what creatures live in the woodland.
- Gruffalo trail - Have your face painted to become the little brown mouse, pick up your trail pack and get set for an adventure. There will be fun for the whole family as you follow footprints, marks and feathers and figure out clues at stops along the trail.
- Habitat building workshop - Become a nature detective and learn about woodland plants that animals use to build their homes. Identify the different wildlife in our Gardens and have a go at building a log pile house for animals to live in.

- Just a reminder too that as the days get shorter, the Gardens will also be closing earlier for daytime admission- please check the Kew website for the most up to date information on closing times and attraction closures within the Gardens
Orchids Festival
- Book your timed ticket for Orchids to the Gardens to make the most of your visit. Please note the date for your Orchids timeslot must match the date on your LittleBird ticket
- A selection of early-bird tickets will be available in the run-up to Orchids. Then from Monday 27 January, Kew will release more ticketed timeslots each Monday for the following week. The final week's tickets will be released on 24 February.

Children's Garden
- You can book online in advance for the Children’s Garden. This will allow you to select a 90-minute timeslot in advance of your visit (at no extra cost).
- Each Monday Kew will release ticketed timeslots for the following week (a very small number of early-bird tickets will be available to book several months in advance). A limited number of timeslots will also be available at the gates.
