This exhibition summons this vanishing wildness back into existence to try and coax the natural world back into children’s stories and imaginations.

Join artist Lydia Hardwick and build a 3D model of one of the many animals featured in The Lost Words.

Ink Stamped Poems - 13 Apr 2018 - Sessions run 10:30-12:00, 13:00-14:30 & 15:00-16:30 | Book on the day - Free

In this creative writing workshop, imagine animals featured in The Lost Words. 
Make rubber letter stamps then write your own acrostic poem using stamped, printed and written words and pictures. With artist Isobel Manning.
Suitable for age 5+.

  • No need to book. Ticket is valid for any day the exhibition is open

  • The Museum has ramped access, a lift to all floors, accessible toilets with baby-changing facilities and a cloakroom.
