Dramacube Productions are delighted to confirm their 2017 Christmas production will be Annie JR with free workshop auditions taking place in Kingston and Hampton Hill on 9th & 13th September. The award winning youth production company produce two major musicals for children aged 7-14 each year which are fully supported by a team of industry professionals including set & costume designers, sound and lighting technicians and stage management.

The workshop auditions, which last for just over two hours, are great fun and provide children with an opportunity to work with professional performers, learning songs, scenes and routines from the show. Even if they're unsuccessful on this occasion, it is free to audition you can always try again later in the year. But who knows, you could end up playing the lead!

Dates:

  • Saturday 9th September 10.15am – 12.30pm at Tiffin Girls School, Kingston
  • Wednesday 13th September 4.45pm – 7.00pm at Hampton Hill Theatre

Price Information:

  • Auditions are open to anyone aged 7-14yrs, however, you must book your audition slot in advance by completing our short registration form.
  • You cannot turn up on the day if you have not booked.
  • Please check that you are available for the rehearsals and production week before booking an audition. 
  • Production fees apply when joining the company 
Need to Know
  • Workshop auditions are great fun & children work in small groups learning songs, scenes and routines from the show
  • There will be lots of staff on hand to answer any questions you have and help you at the audition.
  • There is no need to prepare anything as we’ll provide you with a good variety of musical numbers and scenes to work with.
  • For a musical theatre audition, you should wear comfortable clothing which will allow you to move around freely. There will be plenty of vocal and physical warm ups so it is important that you don’t feel restricted in any way.
  • You should bring plenty of liquid and a small snack to help you stay hydrated and energized. 
  • If you are successful at the audition you will be offered a place in the company within two days of the audition. The place will need to be confirmed within 5 days of the audition.
  • Once you have confirmed your place you will be sent information which will provide you with full details of the next production including times, dates, fees and terms.
  • Once you have been invited to join the company there is no need for you to ever attend the open audition again but you will always be given the opportunity to join the cast of future productions.
  • Production fees apply when joining the company
