What is Kids Week?

Kids Week is all about introducing young people to London theatre. A child aged 17 or under can go FREE to any participating show when accompanied by an adult paying full price, and you can buy up to two extra children’s tickets at half price. What’s more, there are no booking or transaction fees to pay!

Important ticket information

As we work with box offices with a variety of ticketing systems, when you go to buy your tickets, the seats will appear at their half price cost on the seating plan. This is the same deal as 1 full price paying adult and 1 free child.  You should select as many tickets as in your party (e.g.; 2 adults and 3 children = 5 tickets).

Are there tickets for all performances?

The Kids Week deal is only valid on selected dates on participating shows and can only be booked directly through this website. There are a limited number of Kids Week tickets for each performance and tickets may not be on sale for all performances.  You will be able to find out all of the shows participating in Kids Week, as well as the dates and times available to book, from Tuesday 3 June.

How much are Kids Week tickets?

It really depends on the show, so be sure to check that when you book. There are no booking, postage or transaction fees on Kids Week tickets.

My child is 17 – can they have a free kids’ ticket?

They most certainly can! The offer was extended a few years ago so it’s now open to any child aged 17 or under.

Can I take a child under 5?

It depends on the show. Some theatres and shows have strict age policies and don’t admit young children. We always recommend looking at the Age & Content Guide for each show on their individual listings page.

Can I take a baby to the theatre?

Babes in arms are not allowed in almost all theatres. Please check with the venue directly for their current guidelines.

Can I use Theatre Tokens to pay for Kids Week tickets?

Yes! Theatre Tokens can be redeemed online when you make your booking.

How many Kids Week tickets can I book?

You can book a maximum to 10 Kids Week tickets! No more than 5 of these may be adult tickets.

Official London Theatre is run by Society of London Theatre (SOLT) a not-for-profit organisation representing the theatre industry. SOLT also runs the Olivier Awards, West End LIVE, TKTS, Theatre Tokens, Kids Week and See It Live in '25.
