Inventively and beautifully told using puppetry, movement and music Laika is a Sci-fi adventure about braving the unknown. Before Neil Armstrong took one small step for man (and one giant leap for mankind), there was Laika: the first living creature in space as part of the Soviet space programme.
That was in 1957. Today it’s 2057, and Sami lives with his mum, an astronaut who thinks there could be a future out in space. However, Sami doesn’t understand why his mother has to leave as his life is on planet earth.
