Kids go free to the theatre this summer!

Official London Theatre’s Kids Week is back! Running throughout the summer holidays until Monday 31 August, a child aged 17 and under can see a show for free when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Plus, up to two additional children can attend for half price – and there are no booking fees.

With plenty of shows to choose from, there’s something for every age. Younger audiences will love The Enormous Crocodile The Musical, The Cat in the Hat, Zog, Dog Man: The Musical, Be Like Blippi, The Gruffalo Live on Stage, The Lion Inside, Mermaids and Pirates, Pirates Love Underpants and The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Families can also enjoy favourites including Wicked, Arthur, Alice in Wonderland, Brainiac Live, Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain – The Best Bits, A World Elsewhere and Ministry of Science Live!, as well as immersive experiences such as Dinosaur World Live, Monopoly Lifesized and The Paddington Bear Experience.

Alongside the performances, many shows offer a range of free activities for Kids Week ticketholders. Look out for activity sessions, workshops and interactive curtain calls before or after the show to make the most of your theatre trip.

Tickets are on sale now at OfficialLondonTheatre.com and are subject to availability.

Dates and Prices How much are Kids Week tickets?
It really depends on the show, so be sure to check that when you book. There are no booking or transaction fees on Kids Week tickets.

Kids Week is proud to be part of the government Great Summer of Savings campaign which encourages a VAT reduction on children’s and family tickets. Many of our shows are participating and have passed that reduction on to the customer which means you can save even more with Kids Week this year.

The Kids Week offer is open to any child aged 17 or under.

Some theatres and shows have strict age policies and don’t admit young children. Please check the Age & Content Guide for shows on the shows individual listings page.
Need to Know

When you go to buy your tickets, the seats will appear at their half price cost on the seating plan. This is the same deal as 1 full price paying adult and 1 free child. You should select as many tickets as in your party (e.g. 2 adults and 3 children = 5 tickets).

You can book a maximum of 10 Kids Week tickets! No more than 5 of these may be adult tickets.

The Kids Week deal includes select performances between Monday 20 July – Monday 31 August. It used to run for just a week (hence the name) but has grown in popularity and now runs throughout the school summer holidays.

The Kids Week deal is valid for select dates on participating shows and can only be booked directly through this website. There are a limited number of Kids Week tickets for each performance and tickets may not be available on all performances.
