Farm stay glamping holiday on a working farm: a one-of-a-kind holiday!

You aren’t just seeing the countryside at Feather Down. You are feeling, smelling, and tasting it. Think of a place without phones, without interruptions. Imagine the relaxing, crackling sounds of a fire, the soothing, quiet chattering of the birds. At our farms, you are always surrounded by open landscapes and seas of rolling green fields. This is the best nature has to offer.

For over 20 years, Feather Down Farms are proud to have pioneered a new way to holiday under canvas with glamping now a part of their everyday language . Helping families escape from the pressures of daily life and return to a slower way of life, taking time together and reconnecting with nature is at the heart of what we do.

The perfect getaway for school and bank holidays, there's no doubt that there is something about the Feather Down experience that has captured the imagination over the years. Whether it's the cosy, welcoming familiarity of the Feather Down interiors or the legendary hospitality of our farmers, they seem to have hit the nail - or possible the tent peg - on the head as nearly 35% of their guests return year after year. Now, that's something to be proud of.

This year, they've made it even simpler for you to book your Feather Down Farms getaway with confidence, with a new cancellation policy offering a full refund 6 weeks before arrival and their best price guarantee when booking direct with them. Glamping is the ideal holiday for those that love nature but shiver at the thought of planning a camping trip. With them, you never have to worry about setting up a tent or sleeping on cold, uneven ground! From utensils to fully equipped kitchens to showers and flushing toilets, they provide all the amenities you will need to make your stay not just comfortable, but relaxing. And with no electricity in the canvas hideaway, you can escape from the daily distractions to focus on true quality time together.

Now on 30+ farms in the most beautiful spots in the country, their roomy 'canvas hideaways' have more floor space than most cottages. Their canvas hideaways comfortably sleep up to 5 adults and 1 child under 12, with three bedrooms, equipped with premium, unbelievably comfortable mattresses. You will find a spacious double bed, a cosy cupboard bed, and a handy bunk bed.
