🎃 The London Pumpkin Patch, Parsons Green
For something even more central, head to The London Pumpkin Patch in Parsons Green.
This is a handy option if you want the pumpkin-patch experience without heading out of the city. It’s particularly easy to reach by public transport, with Parsons Green Underground station just a short walk away.
It’s a great choice for families who want to embrace the autumn atmosphere, take some pumpkin-filled photos and pick up a pumpkin without committing to a whole day in the countryside.

🎃 Crockford Bridge Farm, Surrey
For a more traditional farm experience, head to Crockford Bridge Pumpkin Farm near Weybridge.
Pumpkin picking opens on 4 October 2026, with families able to head into the fields and choose from a huge selection of homegrown pumpkins and squashes in all sorts of shapes, colours and sizes.
Entry to the pumpkin-picking fields is £6.50 + booking fee, with pumpkins purchased separately. There are also plenty of photo opportunities and quirky installations around the fields.
And if you’re visiting during October half-term, Crockford Bridge is going all out with its Wonderland Pumpkin Festival, running from 24–31 October. The immersive experience includes actors, dancers and entertainers leading families through a magical Wonderland adventure, finishing with a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. Tickets are £14 + booking fee.

🎃 Garsons Pumpkin Parade, Esher
A firm favourite for a Surrey autumn day out, Garson Farm Pick Your Own in Esher is bringing back its Pumpkin Parade for 2026.
This year’s theme is circus-inspired, with colourful decorations, carnival-style games, photo opportunities and thousands of pumpkins and gourds to choose from. Despite the circus theme, Garsons says there won’t be circus acts — it’s all about the autumnal pumpkin fun.
Garson Farm is a huge 155-acre PYO farm, so this is a lovely option if you enjoy a proper farm experience.

🎃 Pumpkin Village, South Woodham Ferrers
For something a little different, head towards Chelmsford and Pumpkin Picking Village.
The Pumpkin Village returns for 2026 from 26 September to 1 November and is much more than simply picking a pumpkin. Alongside pumpkins, gourds and squashes, there are games, crafts, seasonal food, photo opportunities and even a Silent Disco.
Tickets start from £4.95, with under-2s going free.
There are also evening Pumpkin Village Nights, with twilight pumpkin picking, fire artists and selected teen and dog-friendly sessions.

🎃 Cammas Hall Farm, Hertfordshire
Over towards Bishop’s Stortford, Cammas Hall Farm is another brilliant autumn option.
The 2026 Pumpkin Patch opens from 3 October and features spooky tunnels, Halloween characters, a giant erupting Pumpcano, the return of its pumpkin mosaic and an impressive selection of around 80 varieties of pumpkins and squash.
For older children and grown-ups, there are also after-dark experiences including Cammas Resurrected, while the farm’s Halloween Maize Maze can be added to your visit.

🎃 Cobbs Farm Pumpkins, Essex

If you’re after the big pumpkin day out, Tulleys Farm in West Sussex is hard to ignore.
Tulleys Pumpkin Festival returns from 19 September to 1 November 2026, with a huge 100-acre pumpkin-picking area and more than one million pumpkins and gourds available.
But pumpkin picking is only part of the experience. There are themed areas, entertainment, food and drink, rides and plenty of autumn photo opportunities, including the Pumpkin Village.
It’s a much bigger event than a traditional farm pumpkin patch, so allow plenty of time to explore.

Head south into the beautiful South Downs for Slade Farm Pumpkins and Asparagus. W.A & Davey & Son’s Rogate Pumpkin Patch.
Running from 16 October to 1 November 2026, Rogate combines pick-your-own pumpkins with themed play areas, family activities, photo opportunities, food and drink and outdoor entertainment.
