Start at Oxford Circus – Oxford Street “Sky Full of Stars”
Begin your festive walk at Oxford Circus, right as dusk settles in.
The famous canopy of glittering LED stars makes a magical starting point for families — perfect for those first excited photos.
Wander east or west along the street as far as you like, soaking in the huge overhead displays.
2. Walk to Carnaby Street – Colourful Christmas Lights
From Oxford Circus, stroll into Carnaby Street, one of London’s most joyful and playful Christmas spots.
The lights here change theme every year but are always bold, bright and fun — and because it’s pedestrian-only, it’s great for kids.
Optional warm-up stop: Kingly Court for hot chocolate or a quick snack.
3. Regent Street – “Spirit of Christmas” Angels
From Carnaby, continue toward Regent Street, where giant illuminated angels sweep overhead in their classic Christmas formation.

4. Piccadilly → Fortnum & Mason → Old Bond Street → Burlington Arcade
