Harry Potter Book Night 2018 – A Sirius-ly Good Time

It’s time to get out your quills, grab your Remembralls and mark your calendar, everyone because the most magical night of the year is back! On Thursday 1st February fans of all ages will have the chance to celebrate the magic of J.K. Rowling’s novels – and maybe pass some of the magic onto young muggles who haven’t discovered the Wizarding World yet. Each year there are thousands of events, parties and celebrations all over the world so we can’t see how everyone is going to top it this year!

This year’s theme is ‘Fantastic Beasts’, and it already promises to be a roaringly good time. From the terrifying Dementors to the beloved Hippogriffs The Harry Potter universe wouldn’t be what it is without its cornucopia of mythical creatures. Personally, while I love the animals of Harry Potter, I’m glad that giant talking spiders are not a thing, but I’d maybe come around if they looked as cute as this amazing face paint one.

There will be a menagerie of magical ideas, events and activities to get involved in which are all available to check out on the Bloomsbury site. Thinking of having your own Potter party? Don’t forget to download the free Harry Potter Book Night Kit here it’d packed full of wizarding worksheets, a beastly brain-teaser quiz and practical resources themed around Fantastic Beasts.

The official hashtag of the event it #HarryPotterBookNight so send out some owls because we can’t wait to see what everyone’s doing!
