Why not Camp?

The idyllic campsite sits beneath the Prestbury Hills just a short walk from the main arena, complete with areas for caravan, campervans and camping options .

Facilities for campers include hot showers, a campsite shop, café, and a lock up to store any valuables.

Setting up is nice and easy, as campers can drive on to the campsite to set up their tents before moving cars to the free car park. When the weekend is over you can also drive back on to the campsite to pack away, so there's no need to carry heavy tents and camping gear any distance. For any FAQs please see here

Friday 1st - Sunday 3rd June 2018

  • The festival begins on the Friday, with the box office open from 9.30am and entrance to the campsite from 10am. The Festival Village will open at 12 noon and live music on the stages will begin shortly after.
  • On Saturday and Sunday the Festival Village is open from 9.30am for day visitors. Music on the stages begins from 11.00am with workshops running throughout both days. 
  • The campsite will close at midday on the Monday.

Need to Know
  • Festival Tickets do not include accommodation
  • Under 16s must be accompanied by a ticket purchaser who is over 18.
  • The Festival Village opens at 12 noon Friday and 9.30am Sat and Sun for day visitors.
  • The workshops at Wychwood are included in the ticket price, so there is no additional cost to take part in them.
  • A very small number of specialist craft workshops may ask for a minor contribution to materials.
  • Concession rate is available for Students, ES40, 16-18 year olds, and over 60s, and those with Disabilities. You must be able to prove your status.
  • The Festival reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, and to vary the advertised programme and timings without being liable to pay any compensation whatsoever.
  • No pets allowed
  • Car parking is free

Accessibility:

The site is reasonably flat and compact so easy to get around for those with mobility problems and those with small children. There is parking close to the box office for day visitors and weekenders can drive on to the campsite to unload. The campsite is a 100-metre walk away from the festival village over a temporary walkway.

There are wheelchair/easy access toilets on both the campsite and the festival village.
