Special - one off, half term chance to go and meet Rex, the Terrible Tyrannosaurus! Every hour a 16 foot long, 8-foot high majestic walking, roaring dinosaur will be introduced to the crowd, with his special handler. But if Rex is too scary there's a cuddly Velociraptor baby who's dino-sitter will be bringing him around the room for walks each hour too.  

An immersive, engaging adventure awaits where they will put on their souvenir explorer's hat and get ready to jump back in time to the age of the Dinosaurs!  At this interactive themed party event for families feel part of the action in the cleverly crafted atmospheric jungle setting.  Get involved, dress the part, act the part, hunt for the part, play the part, draw, dig, paint, make and do at this amazing event for all dino-lovers.

• October 22nd two sessions of 3hrs each available: 10am -1pm or 1pm - 4pm.
• Recommended for ages 3 -10.
• Tickets include child's souvenir plastic hat, mini dinosaur egg toy, and all entertainment (Big T-rex, Baby Dinosaurs, Snake petting, and photo area), bouncy castle, face painting/tattoos, and all crafts and activities. 
• The only extra costs will be food & beverages, and retail vendor stalls (balloons, toys, etc.).
• You can take your own food and food will also be available at the Explorers Base Camp Café on site.
• It is recommended that you bring a sling or backpack carriers rather than a pushchair where possible. 
• No unattended children allowed. 
• Blackmore Village Hall is easily accessible from M25, M11, A12, and A414. It is quite close to both Brentwood and Chelmsford. 
• There are local bus routes including the 261 from Brentwood High Street or the 32 from Chipping Ongar or Chelmsford Railway Station.
• From London, take fast trains from Liverpool Street/Stratford Stations to Chelmsford and then the 32 bus, or fast trains to Shenfield, and then go one additional stop westward to Brentwood and take the 261 bus. Another option is the London Underground to Epping, and the 420/32 bus.
