Three-day interactive family-friendly music festival and fun the Meraki Festival in St Albans is packed full of top live music acts, creative spaces, laser tag, movie house, mazes, spas and much more.

Designed as a completely family-friendly festival there’s tons to keep the kids entertained with special features and creative spaces around the festival for everyone to enjoy.

Need to Know
  • (*All-inclusive activities do not include food and drink)
  • Child tickets are for anyone within the specified age range on 07/08/2018.
  • No person under the age of 18 years is allowed on site without an accompanying adult (over the age of 25). A maximum of 3 teens per adult.
  • Children under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times while on site.
  • All young adults (aged 13 to 17) MUST camp in the same area as their families with a maximum of 3 teens per adult (over the age of 25).
  • PLEASE NOTE: All timings listed are subject to change due to licensing rules. 
  • One day parking ticket costs £5.00 // 3 day parking ticket costs £10.00 // 5 day campers parking ticket costs £10 and can be purchased here (click on the green ‘TICKETS’ tab and scroll all the way to the bottom.)

Camping:

  • Tent Plots – Meraki festival tent plots are measured out at 6x6m. (If your tent is much bigger than 6x6m – Please try not to bring larger tents as you will infringe on your neighbours. If your tent is larger, please try and pitch next to a friend who can share their space.
  • Standard campers can arrive from 12:00 noon on Thursday 10 August to set up. Campsite entertainment will run from 18:00—22:00 with a small selection of food and drink available.
  • Departures – all campers must be offsite by 12:00 noon on Monday 14 August.
  • No campers will be allowed to arrive at the site on Friday 11 August between 16:30 – 18:00 (This is for public safety, due to the high volumes of rush hour traffic around the festival grounds.)
  • No campers will be allowed to leave the site on Monday 14 August between 08:00 – 09:30 (This is for public safety, due to the high volumes of rush hour traffic around the festival grounds.)

Accessibility:

  • If you are a disabled customer and require full-time assistance at the festival, a free Personal Assistant Ticket will be provided on production of the completed ‘Access Requirement Form’ together with the appropriate evidence of disability as requested.

  • PLEASE NOTE: The last date for submission of 2018 Access Requirement Form is July 31st.
  • Please note there must be one Full Paying adult in a booking for a carer ticket to be issued.
  • There are no separate tickets for disabled customers and you may purchase your ticket through LittleBird. You will be able to apply for your Personal Assistant’s free ticket via the Festival Office.
  •  If you are bringing a disabled child or teen under the age of 16 that requires Meraki's access facilities, you will need to purchase a full-price ticket. Meraki's festival terms and conditions state “Any child under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.” It is not the case that the Child Ticket enables the parent or guardian to request a free carer ticket.

How to Redeem
  • Your email address will be given to the organisers of the Meraki Festival (Team Awesome Events) upon purchase so they may send you your official E-Ticket before the event
  • You will not be signed up for any marketing activity from Team Awesome Events
  • You will receive your e-ticket via email once you have purchased.
