{"id":456,"date":"2014-05-20T13:59:31","date_gmt":"2014-05-20T13:59:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/?p=456"},"modified":"2018-08-24T10:55:25","modified_gmt":"2018-08-24T10:55:25","slug":"something-silly-for-the-weekend-make-a-treasure-map","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/2014\/05\/something-silly-for-the-weekend-make-a-treasure-map\/","title":{"rendered":"Something silly for the weekend&#8230;Make a Treasure Map!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve teamed up with our fabulous friends at\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sharkyandgeorge.com\/\">Sharky &amp; George<\/a>\u00a0to bring you a weekly dose of silliness!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2014\/01\/SomethingSillyBlog.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"SomethingSillyBlog\" src=\"http:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2014\/01\/SomethingSillyBlog.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For this week&#8217;s silliness you will need&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>-A can of coke<br \/>\n-A deep baking tray<br \/>\n-A piece of paper<br \/>\n-A black pen<br \/>\n-Some treasure (pack of sweets, chocolate money, huge pirates chest full of gold?!)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pour the coke into the baking tray and put the paper into it.\u00a0 Leave it to soak for about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Take the coke soaked paper out and lay it on a draining board to dry over night.<\/p>\n<p>While the map paper is drying find somewhere in your house or even better your garden to hide the treasure (ideally bury it).<\/p>\n<p>The next day, do your best to draw a treasure map on the stained piece of paper of your house or garden, and mark with an \u2018x\u2019 where you hid the treasure.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then scroll up the map and give it to a member of your family and challenge them to try to find the treasure.\u00a0 Whatever you do, don\u2019t give them any help!\u00a0 If they don\u2019t find it, the treasure is all yours, if they do, then you can share it with them and ask them to do the same for you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2014\/05\/treas.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-457\" alt=\"treas\" src=\"http:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2014\/05\/treas.jpg\" width=\"542\" height=\"408\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2014\/05\/treas.jpg 542w, https:\/\/www.littlebird.co.uk\/blog\/app\/uploads\/2014\/05\/treas-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 542px) 100vw, 542px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tune in next time for more silliness!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve teamed up with our fabulous friends at\u00a0Sharky &amp; George\u00a0to bring you a weekly dose of silliness!
