Nothing quite like some Christmas Crafting at this time of year. We REALLY love making ornaments \u2013 as they are a pretty little gift to give to grandparents or add to a present. We always make extra, so we can keep one too. We especially love Christmas crafts that DOUBLE UP as either a Christmas ornament or a gift to family<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Today, I would like to share 5 of our favourite ornaments with you (add them to\u00a0 a packed of homemade cookies<\/a> and you have a great little gift in itself!)<\/p>\n

First up our, dear\u00a0Walnut Owls<\/a>\u00a0(Granny got some for her Birthday \u2013 and she can\u2019t wait to hang them up). I love these as we LOVE crafting with walnuts. Walnuts have a very \u201ctraditional\u201d feel to me and we love making little Walnut Babies<\/a> for the tree or racing mice<\/a>. Being super thrifty, I actually cracked open these nuts first and then glued them back together\u2026 hehehehe.<\/p>\n

I love these Felt Hearts<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 they work for me on so many levels \u2013 use them as an ornament\u2026 or use them as a key ring or as a zipper pull on your book back. They are also a great way to introduce basic sewing to young children and make a great gift for both family and the kids\u2019 friends!<\/p>\n

Nothing quite like a little\u00a0Snowflake Ornament<\/a>\u00a0at Christmas. We particularly liked this one as it upcycles old puzzles \u2013 you know, the ones that have pieces missing. Yes, what DO YOU do with old puzzles? Well, this ornament is one solution for sure!<\/p>\n

I REALLY love these\u00a0Keepsake Ornaments<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 I made them from the kids\u2019 baby cardigans. The ones that were stained and couldn\u2019t be passed on any more. Aaaaah. The green one is my daughter\u2019s and the snowman is my son\u2019s. I always smile when I get these out each year. How our babies grow!<\/p>\n

These \u00a0Cork Santas<\/a> make me giggle. Clearly they look cute on the Christmas tree\u2026 but we also had a cheeky game of Santa bowling\u2026<\/p>\n
